Today is Eid ul-Fitr. It marks the end of the month of Ramadan and is a day of celebration, forgiveness, peace and unity.
On the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, my family and I wish all of you peace, serenity, and joy. Eid Mubarak.

Eid Mubarak everyone. It was a very good Eid this year - especially for my daughter. She discovered that Eid is a financial boon for her - she was pocketing money from every grown-up in sight
My daughter the capitalist Muslim! :d
Eid prayers were interesting yesterday. We were visited by a local delegate, Democrat Vivian Watts, who is up for reelection. She spoke about her record of supporting minority rights. Her Republican challenger didnt bother to turn up, though he was invited. They also read out a message (also posted on her website) from Hillary Clinton to the Muslim community. I notice that no such message appears on Obama’s website or on any other candidate’s website, and none was read to the congregation. I guess I am not surprised Hillary is out front in the polls - her campaign it seems is reaching everyone.
