Hero

Thousands of miles from here there are men tonight engaged in killing innocent civilians, mothers, fathers and their young children. Today, up in New York City however, one man engaged in the business of saving lives. US Airways pilot C. B. "Sully" Sullenberger saved the lives of 155 men, women and children as he glided his disabled Airbus 320 onto the waters of the Hudson River. He saved everyone onboard including himself.

The pilot made it from LaGuardia airport, over and around Manhattan, over the George Washington Bridge and onto the Hudson. It was nothing short of a miracle. And Captain Sullenberger is nothing short of a hero.

Next time, I’m flying with that guy!!

    phoo..there have been times when I thought; that’s it..we’re going down..but then, I hate flying [g]..

So far, not to jinx anyone, I’ve always felt pretty safe with Southwest..they fly those planes like bus drivers, get in and let’s get there..[g] like last time when we ended up visiting you..

It’s also nice to hear some good news amongst the many unbearably tragic and super frustrating stories..
