Bloggers Against Torture

Bloggers Against Torture

June is Torture Awareness Month. To spread awareness Elendil of Rummy’s Diaries has launched Bloggers Against Torture. If you are a blogger, please consider joining the alliance. If you are a reader, visit the alliance web site and help spread the word. Torture can only survive in the shadows – help shine a light on this scourge upon humanity.

Gosh, look at the size of that logo. This is great, Mash, I reckon we’ll have a good size alliance by month’s end.

  2. Mash says:

I think if that logo does not capture attention, nothing will 🙂

I also added a note at the end of my dKos crosspost. Hopefully you’ll get some more folks joining through that route.%%-

This is going to be great! It reminds me of when I was part of The Big Brass Alliance, a band of bloggers who brought awareness of The Downing Street Memos to the mainstream media and Congress.

I’m looking forward to this adventure. **==:d

I’m part of Democratic Underground. I’ll try and round the troops up there.

Yes, I used Big Brass as my mental template when I created it. I even nicked some of their code. As I was telling Phillybits, I’ll be happy if just a few dedicated bloggers join up and help out. Every bit counts.

Good job, Mash. Saw you at Ablog. So,I came. I saw. I hope. Hope is good. Meanwhile, have you ever seen a US administration so full of sadism and perversion? The torture has got to stop. Keep up the good work. And, thanks.

You’re on a roll, Mash. I just realised that I called you Nash when I flogged your blog over at my place. Oh, well, I must have been subliminally thinking of dashing, as in the picture of Peter Sellers and your efforts to create not just ripples, but waves, which I hope we can ride all the way to Washington. I’m not a serious blogger, just post some thoughts and links. Thanks.
