  1. Rivkeleh says:

I held my sleeping son in my arms while I listened to every word and considered that soon our country may be led by a man who embodies my values; that he may learn about government in a world where I don’t have to apologize for why our government doesn’t match the ideals on which our country was founded. My pride, hope, and utter delight to feel represented again ran over in my unabashed tears. Thank goodness everyone else in the house was asleep — I’d be mortified to be caught at the level of unbridled optimism I was exhibiting.

This speech moved me to tears. I’m ready for change. 🙂

Obama rallied in Nissan Pavilion in Virginia this evening with Jim Webb (potential VP candidate). Obama’s message was he would never take money from DC lobbyist in an effort to purge corruption.

He is reportedly meeting Clinton in DC tonight. Speculations are flying that he will offer both the Clintons major roles during the convention August.

  4. Mash says:

Zm, I was at the Nissan Pavilion today. It was electric. I will post on it later tonight when I can get a good internet connection.

  5. Kaiser Kabir says:

So, should Hillary be the vice-presidential nominee? Come on Mash, old chap, where are you?

  6. Mash says:

Hi Kaiser, sorry for the slow posting. My internet connection has been down. I’ll do a VP roundup soon (and Hillary will not be the VP pick :)).
