The political geniuses at the McCain campaign have decided on their latest line of attack on Barack Obama. Apparently, they are now calling him "Barack The Redistributor" (this, of course, is in keeping with the "Joe The Plumber", "Tito The Builder", "Dora The Explorer" theme).
But, unless I missed something, isn’t this dangerously close to "Cindy The Distributor"? Does the McCain campaign really want to remind the electorate that Cindy McCain, "Cindy The Distributor", is the chairwoman of a $340 million beer distributor? Is this really an effective closing argument for John McCain?
Enough with the cartoon characters, John The Erratic.
The Bush administration redistributed about $30k of my annual income and I want it back.
Hey, check out this piece on ACORN. Robert Kennedy Jr. had an NPR interview last night with a similar explanation of why this isn’t the kind of election fraud that leads to inaccurate voting: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/27/brazile.acorn/index.html.
Amazing what they’re hanging their hats on now — and the ad from the RNC still running in VA? I really want to do a parody of Palin facing an international crisis from the Oval Office, but just can’t muster the energy to do it — the thought depresses me, no matter what clothes she’s wearing.
Unless she were to decide to go naked to make a point. I bet she could get a lot of votes that way. Hrm.
Oh BTW, c’mon, it’s supposed to be “John the Maverick.” Get with the program!
I like “John the Elder” and we launch him into the fjord on a boat.
Or, as he has become – “John the hopelessly addicted to Air Quotes”.
As to redistribution, Pres. Bush has redistributed far too many of our youth into harms way – and I’m tired of it.
that’s funny! and I like the ‘launching McCain into the fjord’ idea..upsedaisy..
Ingrid
Rivkeleh, she is going rogue, not commando! 🙂
hmm, into the fjord? Is that the new exit strategy?
At the risk of identifying myself as a Monty Python geek, I have an irresistable urge to make a “pining for the fjords” joke. But won’t.
But having aged into being also an Austin Powers geek, I don’t think I’ll be able to watch him on TV again without wanting to do air quotes and refer to a “laser.”
Dear Dr. Strangelove Readers:
You are making an egregious mistake by backing Barack Obama. It is BO’s policies, and the excessively restrictive regulatory and high-tax policies of Congressional Liberals, that have destroyed American jobs by driving those jobs to low-cost, deregulated, pro-growth, foreign countries like China.
Additional regulations and higher taxes will only accelerate this job loss and further strangle our job-creating businesses. The net effect is a substantial, and unnecessary, restriction of America’s ability to compete in the global economy.
I sincerely urge you to seriously reconsider your support for the failed regulatory and tax policies of Congressional liberals like BO and Joe Biden.
Sincerely, T Boo Pickens
