Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich’s appointment of Roland Burris to the US Senate is either the work of a complete madman or the gambit of a political genius. Either way, Blago must have a set of these.

    Mash, please put down the crack pipe….lol. Roland Burris couldn’t get elected to anything beyond nominal roles in our state (Controller and Attorney General). This ploy is the gambit of a madman, yes. But one where he hopes to play the politics of race as a distraction. Having the deteriorating Bobby Rush there to raise the alarming words of “lynching & hanging” was pathetic. yes, we need diversity in everything. Yes, there must be deserving candidates beyond Esq. Burris. But please, recognize Hot Rod for what he is….plotting until the end.

    lol, Red, that’s why I put this post in the “Humor” category.

    Blago is pure entertainment. He lives in an alternate reality. He has, however, put the Senate Democrats in a pickle. I guess its one last BLEEP you from Blago.

    But, I can’t deny, its fun to watch. I can’t wait for the next press conference 🙂
