Barack Obama Rallies In Loudoun County, Virginia

Barack Obama held a massive rally at Ida Lee Park in Leesburg, Virginia today. This was his first visit to Loudoun County in Northern Virginia, and I was there.

The traffic was bad, the line was very long, and I had to jump the three-rail fence to get a better view from the cheap seats – but it was well worth it to be there to see Barack Obama on his first and only trip to my county. Loudoun County in Northern Virginia will be a swing county in this election, and Obama did himself a lot of good today by visiting.

Now, on to November 4th.

I’m assuming it wasn’t you in the back with a goatee and dark glasses…was it?

    Wow Mash-
thank you for that link. I was very sad that I could not go and take Drew with me. I really felt that it was something to be seen. However, Greg was out of town and Drew had a full night. Then after I decided not to go-it would be too much, the coach cancelled practice. Bummer. We did get to experience the traffic though!

I am really glad that you went. I want to tell you what we are doing for the campaign. We are hosting Get out the Vote Volunteers at our house. We may have either one, two or five sleeping at our house for three nights. Cool huh? Can’t manage to do anything else, so support the volunteers is the next best thing.

What about some Joe Biden coverage? Haven’t seen anything from him lately!

Hey Vickie, thanks for hosting the volunteers. It will be a rough week next week. McCain will throw everything he has at Virginia. He just went up on radio today with two ads. He will go very negative from here on in. We’ll need a big GOTV operation to put Obama over the top.

If Obama wins Virginia he wins the White House.

Jasper, I have no goatee 🙂

Barack Obama for me is the most charismatic president to be ever elected. He also makes great decisions, for example in the ecomomic stimulus package to counter the effects of recession.
